Making the world a better place,

One kind act at a time

We all have seen how a small act of kindness can go a long way. We want to
spread the goodness and share the stories to keep the cycle of positivity going!

Share Your Kindness

How This All Began

Have you ever been the recipient of a kind act and recognized its impact?

William DeJean, a Baton Rouge sophomore, was driving down the road when he noticed an elderly woman walking on the sidewalk, clearly struggling - her arms loaded full of grocery bags. He felt something speak to his heart and he turned his car around and got out to talk to her.

She was on her way to the bus station to take the groceries home but the next bus wasn't going her way for a while. He offered her a ride, which she graciously accepted and on the long trek to her house, he realized she would have spent hours just trying to get home. She profusely thanked him and while to him it was a small gesture, to her it was clearly more than that.

This small moment inspired William to start a small initiative of his own. One he hoped would spread and lighten the load of others in need of help in our community. We hope you will join him.
